scary weeaboos dressed up as animoo characters posing everywhere!! I wanted to push one of them or jump into their pictures... but i would feel like such a mean jackass.
and they can be really perverted, too...
there were a bunch of guys dressed up as L hitting on me, or "accidentally" bumping into me. ugh. you're lazy at cosplaying AND you take advantage of the character's fandom and try to get girls.

I got fucking Pneumonia this year from Anime Detour >:C
Oh, and I was stalked (literally stalked, as in she was following me around and holding her hands out in a choking motion) a few years previous by an ex-friend.

Pff I cosplayed as Roxas and an Axel cosplayer kept finding me and glomping me. 8 times, in fact. Though, it was more hilarious than bad.

I was so exhausted at my first con I passed out on the floor and laid there while my sister sat down at a table close to me and watched as people stared and started asking if I was ok/dead.

I woke up an hour later with a circle of people around me.

I had to sleep outside one night during AX last year. It was my first AX and convention too.

It was terrible. It was cold and I was next to people I didn't know who were also freezing. But I learned I can never be a bum.

And the next morning I found an adorable guy cosplaying as pikachu.

Well, those are memories for you.

No one had sewing all their cosplays so I spent all of Friday sewing their cosplays and most of Saturday in the hotel room sewing, and I didn't get to sleep or eat anything in two days. And then when I finally finished and went down to my artist alley table, someone had stolen our table and I couldn't get it back so I just left the con.
